Ascension Day is on Thursday 14th May, there are a number of opportunities to celebrate this important day.
There is a quiet said Morning Prayer at 0815 followed by Holy Communion at 0830, these services will be held in St Andrew’s Chapel.
At 10.15 Deacon Peter will lead a Reserved Sacrament service in the Lady Chapel
Evening Prayer will be said at 5.00pm in the Lady Chapel
At 7.30pm There will be a Choral Eucharist of the Ascension. The choir will sing
Darke’s Communion service in F and the Anthem is “God is gone up” by Finzi
After the evening Eucharist we will have light refreshments and fellowship in the Cathedral
