Inverness Cathedral Guides and Welcomers
Saturday 23rd May at 14.30 in the Cathedral
St Andrew’s Cathedral, Inverness is visited by many people throughout the year and especially during the holiday season. Many of them comment that the building is beautiful and prayerful but that they can’t find out the stories and the history of the building or the Episcopal Church.
One way of engaging with this is to have both welcomers at the cathedral doors during the summer and a team of Cathedral Guides who can take visitors around the building.
If this is something you would be interested in and would like to know more about then please come along to an afternoon event which will help us explore what it would mean to be a welcome or guide and what training we might be required. The afternoon will be fun and informative.
