On Friday 8th May there will be a number of events to commemorate VE Day. The first is a service at the Old High Church, Inverness at 14.00, this will be followed by Evening Prayer in the Cathedral at 17.00 during which an act of remembrance and thanksgiving will take place. At the conclusion of Evening Prayer the Cathedral Bell ringers will ring a Quarter Peal to give thanks for the ending of the War in Europe in 1945.
