Diocesan Youth are Heading for Quebec

May 21, 2015

After three years of planning and fundraising we are at last heading off for the long overdue Youth Trip to Quebec.

The Diocese of Quebec is one of our link dioceses and three years ago we were delighted to welcome Bishop Dennis, a small group of young people and their leaders to stay with us at Arpafeelie, and to visit a number of the churches and activities of the Diocese. Now we are about to make the return trip.

There are eleven of us in the party and we come from right across the Diocese.  We would like to thank the many people who have helped us raise the money for this adventure, those who sponsored us, attend the events we planned, those churches that gave some of their time and finance to help and the private individuals who have shared our vision. Special thanks to the Provincial Overseas and Youth Committees without whom this would have all been much harder to achieve.

We intend to write a daily report for the website and will produce a daily programme so that you can join us on the journey and hopefully share some of the spiritual elements of the trip.

Once we return we will be trying to reach as many parts of the Diocese as possible to share our trip with you.

Please pray for us as we set off on this great adventure.

The pilgrims leave the Highlands on the 3rd of July and will return on the 14th.
